Allen Wayside Furniture has been serving the Portsmouth, NH area and its surrounding communities since 1964. We have since expanded into Conway, Plaistow, Wolfeboro, and our Outlet store in Hampton Falls. Our Company offers positions in Retail Sales, Office/Clerical, and Warehouse and Delivery working both behind the scenes, and directly with our vendors and customers. As one of the largest family owned and operated Furniture and Mattress retailers in New Hampshire, we are always looking to grow, providing job security and multiple opportunities of growth.

Portsmouth, Maine, United States
Entry level warehouse position in a fun, fast pace retail environment. Seeking a goal oriented, team player who enjoys hands on work and assembly of products. Candidate must demonstrate professionalism and positive energy while working with our team and customers. It’s the perfect time to join our team at this family owned and operated company looking to grow!
Position includes but is not limited to the following duties:
- Picking, opening, and preparation of sold orders to be delivered
- Showroom displays and set up
- Deliveries
- Ground maintenance of properties
- Maintain, clean, and supply the warehouse area
- Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers license
- Available to work weekends
- Prior delivery or furniture experience a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact within a team environment and with customers
Physical Requirements:
Position requires lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping and moving furniture items. Ability to lift 75lbs-100lbs plus.
